Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg elderberries, cleaned
  • Water
  • Gelling sugar according to package instructions

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Boil the berries in a large pot, covered with water, until the fruit bursts. Strain the fruit mixture through a cheesecloth. Boil the filtered juice with 1/1 of the preserving sugar until it sets. Pour the jam into boiled jars, clean the rims, skim off the foam, put the lid on, and turn upside down. Let cool.
