Strawberry-rhubarb jam with vanilla sugar

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 600 g strawberries
  • 400 g rhubarb
  • 4 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 1 kg gelling sugar (1:1)

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Remove the green parts from the strawberries, wash, and puree them. Wash, peel, and cut the rhubarb into small pieces. Then cook with the vanilla sugar for about 15 minutes until soft. Then add the pureed strawberries. When everything is boiling again, add the gelling sugar and cook over high heat for about 4 minutes. Pour the boiling jam into prepared jars and seal immediately. Then let the jars cool, and you’re ready to serve.
