Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 300 g flour
- 150 g sugar
- 150 g clarified butter
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 4 large apples
- e.g. raisins (to taste)
- e.g. powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Combine flour, sugar, clarified butter, vanilla sugar, baking powder, and eggs in a dough. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Peel and coarsely grate the apples (if the apples are too tart, add a little more sugar). Add raisins to the apple mixture, if desired. Place the grated apple mixture in the center of the dough and spread it lengthwise. Then fold the dough from the longer sides into the center. Place the dough roll on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top and bottom heat) for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Dust with powdered sugar.
