Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 1 can tuna in oil
- 1 medium-sized red onion(s), finely diced
- 150 g cheese (Gouda), grated
- 12 slices of toast
- salt and pepper
Instructions

Place the tuna and oil in a bowl. Add the diced onion and grated cheese. Season with salt and pepper and stir to combine. Spread the tuna mixture on 6 slices of toast, then top with the remaining bread. Toast until golden brown, either in a sandwich maker (approx. 4 minutes) or in the oven at 175°C (approx. 10 minutes). Serve with a green salad! This recipe makes enough for a main meal for 3 people.
