Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g pasta (macaroni)
- Water (salt water)
- 50 g leaf spinach (frozen)
- 1 shallot(s)
- 5 slice(s) cooked ham, round
- 5 slices of processed cheese (Chester)
- 250 ml whipped cream
- 125 ml white wine
- some olive oil
- 50 g Parmesan
- salt and pepper
- some broth, granulated
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cook the macaroni in salted water until al dente. Thaw the spinach leaves and chop slightly. Slice the shallots and sauté in olive oil. Add the wine, cream, and spinach leaves and season with salt, pepper, and granulated stock, if desired. Simmer everything until a creamy sauce forms. Mix the macaroni with the sauce. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the ham slices on top. Using a spaghetti spoon or a meat fork, form nests from the macaroni and place them on the ham. Top the nests with a slice of Cheshire cheese and sprinkle with coarsely grated Parmesan cheese. Bake the nests in the oven under the preheated grill for about 5 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown. Tip: You can also enrich the sauce with some diced cooked ham (use up any leftover cooked ham).
