Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 kg chicken wings
- 1 bottle of sauce, hot chili
- 8 tbsp honey
- 1 lemon(s), squeezed
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 large garlic cloves
- 5 tsp chili pepper(s), dried, chopped, red
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 3 tsp ginger powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 1 hour 5 minutes
Mix the chili sauce, honey, lemon juice, and soy sauce in a bowl. Mix the dried, chopped chilies (use more or less depending on how spicy you like it) with the salt, paprika, and ginger powder and stir into the sauce. Press the garlic into the sauce. Divide the chicken wings into three freezer bags and pour the sauce over them. Seal the bags tightly and mix well. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 20-24 hours. Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spread the remaining sauce from the bags over the wings. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and cook the chicken wings on the middle rack for about 45 minutes. Serve with French fries or baguette.
