Cherry jelly with Amaretto

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 liter cherry juice
  • Gelling sugar, quantity according to package instructions
  • 150 Amaretto

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Boil the cherry juice with the gelling sugar (according to the gelling sugar manufacturer’s instructions). While boiling, add the Amaretto. Don’t be fooled; 150 ml is a lot. Most of it will evaporate during the boiling process anyway. If you want a slight alcoholic note, add a dash of Amaretto after boiling. I came up with this recipe after making the amaretto cherries and had leftover cherry juice, which I then boiled to make jelly.
