Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g processed cheese (with herbs if desired)
  • 200 g ham
  • Parsley, fresh or frozen
  • 400 g cheese (Emmental), in one piece

Grandma’s way/ for a role

Soften the cheese in a freezer bag in a water bath (do not let it melt). Meanwhile, hard-boil the eggs and finely dice them. Dice the ham as well. Mix the processed cheese and butter until creamy. Stir in the ham, eggs, and parsley (chop the fresh parsley first, of course). Roll the cheese out into a rectangle. Spread the mixture on top, leaving a little space around the edges. Roll the cheese into a log and refrigerate.
