Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 500 g veal liver sausage, soft
- 5 tbsp butter
- 1 onion(s), diced
- 2 apples, peeled and grated
- 1 bunch chives, in rolls
- 2 tsp mustard
- herbal salt
- Cayenne pepper
- 20 slice(s) bread(s) (country bread)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Sauté the onion and apples in 2 tablespoons of butter until softened. Remove from heat and let cool. Stir in the veal liver sausage, onion/apples, remaining butter, and chives. Season with mustard, herb salt, and cayenne pepper. Lightly toast the country bread and spread with the liver sausage cream.
