Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 apples
  • Salami, sliced
  • Sausage (mortadella), sliced
  • Cheese, sliced ​​(e.g. Gouda)
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Top the slices of bread with the salami. Peel the apples, cut them into wedges, and arrange them on top of the salami. (If you prefer a heartier dish, you can use onions instead of apples.) Then add the mortadella and cheese. Bake the whole thing in the oven or grill at around 180°C until the cheese bubbles. In the meantime, fried the eggs and place them on the toasted bread. If you like, you can top it all with ketchup. It’s super quick – you always have the ingredients at home – it tastes delicious (even for kids!) and is really filling.
