Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 400 g sauerkraut ready to use from the refrigerated section
- 200 g liver sausage (homemade)
- 100 g cheese (Emmental), grated
- 10 slices of toast, lightly toasted
- Paprika powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Sounds strange, but tastes good!
Mix the sauerkraut with the liverwurst and cheese, season generously with paprika, and spread on the toast. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes. Serve with a mixed salad and a cold beer.
