Turkey meatballs with nut crust

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat (turkey)
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 30 g flour
  • 1 tsp, leveled salt
  • n. B. Pepper, freshly ground
  • 50 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 1 tbsp, leveled flour
  • e.g. oil or fat for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Meatballs with a twist

Finely chop the onion, mix it with the crushed garlic clove and the ground meat. Add the tomato paste, egg, and flour to the meat mixture and season with salt and pepper. Mix the ground nuts with the flour. Shape the meat mixture into 8 patties, coat them in the nut-flour mixture, and fry in hot oil until crispy. We like to serve this with green beans and boiled potatoes.
