the not so classic hot dog

For the homemade teriyaki sauce, combine soy sauce, water, rice vinegar, brown sugar, sugar, garlic, and ginger in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved. Peel the avocado and cut into larger pieces. Chop the onions and fry them until golden brown. I always add honey and deglaze with white wine. Fry the bacon cubes until nice and crispy. Fry the ham buns for 30 seconds on each side until they are all crispy. Heat the hot dog buns in the oven and slice them as usual. Place the sausage in the bun, then arrange the onions, bacon, and avocado cubes on top. Spread Japanese mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, and the homemade teriyaki sauce generously and sprinkle with furikake.
