Fresh whole wheat pasta salad

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 500 g pasta, whole grain
  • salt water
  • 400 g cream cheese (0.2% fat)
  • 3 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp jam (apple jam)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 large green bell pepper(s)
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1 m.-large cucumber(s)
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, drain, and let cool. In a shaker, vigorously shake the mustard, jam, cream cheese, olive oil (a little more or less if needed), salt, and pepper. Dice the cucumber, bell pepper, and onion and add to the cooled pasta. Quarter the tomatoes and add them as well. Now add the dressing, and finally, chop the chives and stir in.
