Lamb's lettuce with roasted pears and walnuts

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g lamb’s lettuce
  • 2 bulb(s)
  • 100 g walnuts, peeled
  • 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • Honey
  • Butter for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Wash the lamb’s lettuce, tear, and spin dry. Arrange decoratively on 4 plates. Peel and core the pears, and cut into bite-sized pieces. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the pears and walnuts. Place the lamb’s lettuce on the plates. Whisk the balsamic vinegar in the pan until foamy, then add enough honey to create a creamy consistency. Divide the sauce among the plates and serve the salad warm.
