Pasta with asparagus and fresh herbs

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g tagliatelle or other pasta
  • 160 g asparagus, white or green
  • 1 handful of parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 handful of basil, finely torn
  • 320 ml cream
  • 40 g butter
  • 50 g Parmesan, freshly grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Vegetarian pasta

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, drain, and return it to the pot. Meanwhile, cut the asparagus into small strips and finely chop the parsley and basil. Melt the butter in a saucepan and briefly sauté the asparagus. Add the parsley and basil along with the cream and simmer for 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the Parmesan cheese. Add the warm pasta, mix well, and serve immediately.
