Taco Burger

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 rolls (hamburger buns)
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 head of lettuce
  • 6 slices of processed cheese
  • e.g. sauce (salsa)
  • e.g. chips (tortilla chips)
  • salt and pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Slice the tomatoes, wash and tear the lettuce into small pieces, and cut open the buns. Form the ground beef into patties. 500g yields 6-8 patties, depending on how thick you want the meat on your burger. Season the patties with salt and pepper and fry in a pan with oil until cooked through. Then toast the hamburger buns and add the toppings. The burgers will be most stable if they are topped in the following order: First, spread plenty of salsa on the inside of both buns, then add some lettuce, 1-2 tomato slices, the meat, cheese, and some tortilla chips to the bottom half, and then fold the top half over.
