Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 300 g wheat flour
- 20 g yeast
- 80 g margarine or oil
- 1 tbsp sugar, brown sugar, possibly also fruit juice concentrate to taste
- 1 tsp salt
- 125 ml water
- Grease for the tray
- 800 g onion(s)
- 3 stalk(s) leeks, cut into rings
- Salt
- Caraway seeds
- 250 g smoked tofu, very finely diced
- 80 g cashew nuts
- 375 ml water
- 1 tsp agar-agar
- 1 tsp herbal salt
- 2 tsp vegetable stock powder
- ½ tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes
Knead the wheat flour, yeast, margarine, sugar, salt, and water into a dough and place it on a greased baking sheet. Place the sheet in a warm place to rise. For the topping, sauté the onions and leeks in oil, then stir in the salt, caraway seeds, and smoked tofu. Set aside. Mix the cashews with about 100 ml of water, then bring the remaining water to a boil with the agar agar. Then mix all ingredients and season to taste. Stir this mixture into the onion and leek mixture. Spread everything over the dough and let it rise again for a few minutes. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20-40 minutes.
