A traditional recipe from my daughter’s elementary school teacher…we bake it every year.

Combine everything in the KitchenAid and knead until a smooth dough forms. Or, use a mixer fitted with a dough hook to roughly knead it, then finish kneading by hand. You can chill the dough and use it later, but it’ll easily hold up if you use it right away. To do this, roll out thinly in batches on a floured surface and cut out Christmas shapes. Place on baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Bake in batches at 200°C (preheated) until golden brown. This takes between 8 and 12 minutes, depending on the oven temperature.
