Apple and curd casserole

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g apples
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 50 g honey or sugar
  • 250 g quark
  • 20 g flour
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel the apples, coarsely grate them, and drizzle with lemon juice. Whisk the egg yolks with honey or sugar, quark, and flour. Fold in the apples and season with cinnamon. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the apple and quark mixture. Pour into a greased baking dish and bake at 180°C for 20-25 minutes.
