Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 lemon(s), unsprayed
  • 500 g strawberries
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 1 banana(s)
  • 50 ml whipped cream
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 100 g quark

Strawberries baked with bananas

Wash the strawberries and puree one-third of them, then thinly slice the remaining strawberries. Add the vanilla sugar and pepper to the puree. Peel and squeeze the lemon. Thinly slice the banana. Gently mix with the sliced ​​strawberries and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Divide the fruit and puree between small baking dishes. Separate the egg and beat the egg white with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form. Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until frothy, then stir in the quark and cream. Season the egg mixture with lemon zest and lemon juice (about 1 tablespoon), then fold in the beaten egg whites. Spread the batter over the fruit mixture and bake at 225°C for 6-8 minutes until golden brown. This dessert can be served hot or cold. Garnish with flaked almonds or similar if desired.
