Strawberry quark soufflé

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg strawberries
  • 40 ml Grand Marnier
  • 500 g quark
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 2 vanilla pods, the pulp
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • Butter for the mold
  • Powdered sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Rinse the strawberries and marinate them with Grand Marnier. Combine the quark with the egg yolk and vanilla seeds. Beat the egg whites with the sugar until frothy, then carefully fold them into the quark mixture. Butter a baking dish, pour in the quark mixture, and scatter the strawberries over it. Bake in a preheated oven at 250°C (480°F) for approximately 10-20 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
