Spaghetti and minced meat casserole

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 750g spaghetti
  • 1,000 g minced meat, mixed
  • 750g Gouda
  • 500 ml cream or Cremefine
  • 2 eggs
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • e.g. marjoram
  • n. B. Thyme
  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 3 tomatoes

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to the package instructions. Grate the cheese. First mix the butter with the spaghetti, let it cool, then stir in a little of the cheese (this makes it easier to distribute the cheese). Set the remaining cheese aside. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. Mix the minced meat with the eggs and cream, season with spices and chopped herbs. Spread the mixture over the spaghetti. Bake the casserole in a hot oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes, until the minced meat has browned. Arrange the sliced ​​tomatoes on the casserole and sprinkle with the remaining cheese on top. Briefly bake the casserole again until the cheese has melted.
