Chicken fillet in cheese coating

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 3 tbsp cheese, grated
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 2 turkey breast fillets or chicken breast fillets
  • possibly herbs (e.g. chives)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

low in fat despite cheese

Pour the milk and mustard into a deep plate and mix together. Marinate the fillets in it. Mix the remaining ingredients together on a shallow plate, then toss the fillets in the mixture. Place the breaded chicken fillets on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 25-35 minutes (depending on the size). Serve immediately. Serve with a green salad. Note: I occasionally add fresh herbs to the cheese and flour for a splash of color; chives have proven to be the best choice so far (if I’m out of those, I sometimes resort to a frozen herb mix).
