Apple pie made from quark and oil dough

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 75 g quark
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 30 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of lemon(s), grated peel
  • ½ packet of vanilla sugar
  • 150 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 2 apples
  • 100 g flour
  • 50 g sugar
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 70 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Using a hand mixer, combine the quark with the oil, egg, milk, sugar, salt, lemon zest, and vanilla sugar. Mix the flour with the baking powder. Stir in half the flour, then knead in the other half until the dough is smooth and even. Grease a springform pan and roll out the dough. Wash, core, and slice the apples, then top the dough with them. Mix the flour, sugar, and cinnamon. Melt the butter, let it cool, and then very slowly whisk it into the mixed flour, breaking it all up with a fork. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples. Bake at 200°C (top/bottom heat) or 180°C (fan oven) for about 25 minutes.
