Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g flour
- some salt
- 1 pinch(s) of baking powder
- 0.38 liters of mineral water
- 2 egg yolks
- 200 g roll(s) or toast
- some butter or margarine
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Bohemian style
Mix the flour with the baking powder and salt and sift into a bowl. Add the two egg yolks, gradually adding the mineral water. Beat the dough with a wooden spoon until smooth and bubbly. Dice the rolls or bread and toast them all over in fat. Let them cool briefly and mix them into the dough. Let them rest for a while. With floured hands, form two smaller logs, place them in boiling water and let them simmer for 20 minutes. Remove with a wide slotted spoon and slice with string. We serve it with Szeged goulash.
