Pointed peppers filled with minced turkey and grainy cream cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat (turkey mince) or as desired
  • 6 pointed peppers
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 cup cream cheese, grainy
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 red chili pepper(s)
  • 2 tbsp oil for frying
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Brown the minced meat in a pan with the oil, finely chopped onions, and diced chili peppers. Add the crushed garlic. Season with pepper, salt, and paprika. Trim and deseed the peppers. Mix the cream cheese into the minced meat and carefully spoon the mixture into the pointed peppers using a small, long dessert spoon. Mix the canned tomatoes with the remaining minced meat mixture, if desired, and spread it on the bottom of a baking dish. Place the stuffed pointed peppers on top and bake in the oven for at least 20 minutes at 170°C, then for another 10 minutes at 140°C, turning occasionally if necessary. Serve with rice.
