Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g green beans
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp mustard seeds
  • 3 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 stalks of savory
  • 1 ½ liters of water
  • 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Wash the beans. Remove the nibs and strings, halving any large beans. Cook in a pot of water with a little salt until al dente. Remove the beans from the pot and place them in a bowl. Add finely chopped onions, salt, pepper, spices, vinegar, oil, and some of the cooking liquid. Mix everything thoroughly and let cool. Serve on glass plates.
