Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 50 minutes
For the pizza rolls: Mix the yeast with the sugar, water and 250g flour. Let the resulting pre-dough stand for about 1 hour. Once the pre-dough has risen nicely, add all the other ingredients and mix well (knead with a mixer for about 5 minutes). Allow the dough to prove for about 2 hours. Then knead the dough briefly by hand, then roll it out into a ball and divide it into 8 pieces. Roll each of these dough segments into a ball again. Then shape the rolls (round or oval, depending on your preference). Place the formed rolls on a baking tray for a final rise (about 30 minutes). Preheat the oven to 250°C in good time. Before putting the rolls in the oven, score the surface and spray them lightly with water. Bake the rolls for about 10 minutes until they start to brown, then turn the oven down to 180°C and bake the rolls for about another 10 minutes. (Times and temperatures may vary depending on your oven!!) For the dip: Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and blend until smooth. Tip: The amount of milk depends on how creamy you want the dip! It’s best to start with 3 tablespoons of milk!
