Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 jar Puszta salad
  • 400 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 100 ml tomato ketchup
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 500 g rigatoni or other pasta of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

with noodles

Brown the minced meat in a little oil in a pot or deep frying pan. Add the tomato paste and season with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain the Puszta salad in a sieve and reserve the liquid. Add the salad to the minced meat and some of the reserved liquid. Add the tomato ketchup and the passata. Let the sauce simmer briefly. Season to taste and serve with the cooked pasta. The minced beef can also be replaced with a vegetarian or vegan alternative.
