Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 20 prunes, pitted
- 20 slice(s) bacon
- 1 bottle of port wine

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Wrap each plum with a slice of bacon or lardons. If the slices are too large, simply cut them in half. I find they stay put like this; if not, secure them with a toothpick. Arrange them all neatly in a baking dish. Pour a generous amount of port wine over them. Place in the oven at 180°C for about 20-25 minutes. Shake occasionally to ensure the wine is evenly distributed. Be careful they don’t turn black. Delicious served cold or warm.
