Leek casserole á la food combining

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g leek
  • 180 ml water
  • ½ vegetable stock cube
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tsp fat (vegetable fat)
  • 100 g minced beef
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1 pinch of coriander
  • ½ clove(s) garlic, crushed
  • rosemary
  • Thyme
  • 2 tbsp sweet cream
  • 30 g cheese, grated
  • 125 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Slice the leek into rings, place it in a pot, cover with water, and cook with the stock cube over low heat for about 20 minutes. Peel and dice the onion, and sauté in the fat until translucent. Lightly fry the minced meat. Peel and dice the tomatoes, and add them to the minced meat. Sprinkle with paprika and add 125 ml of water. Simmer for 10 minutes. Season to taste with the spices and stir in the cream. Place the leek in a casserole dish and pour the minced meat sauce over it. Sprinkle with cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10-15 minutes.
