Spinach and minced meat casserole

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 600 g leaf spinach, frozen
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 300 g minced beef
  • herbal salt
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 150 g sweet cream
  • 50 g cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Food combining, protein meal

Thaw the spinach. Meanwhile, peel and finely dice the onion, and sauté it in butter until translucent. Add the ground beef and fry until crumbly. Season with herb salt, cayenne pepper, and nutmeg. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Spread half of the spinach in a baking dish and top with half of the ground beef. Then add the remaining spinach and finally the remaining ground beef to the dish. Mix the cream with the cheese and pour over the casserole. Bake the casserole in the hot oven for about 20 minutes.
