Pizza made from spelt bread mix

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g baking mix for spelt bread
  • n. B. water
  • ½ tube(s) tomato paste
  • 2 onions, chopped, more if desired
  • ½ jar olives
  • 5 dashes of Tabasco
  • 2 chili peppers
  • ½ pack of smoked salmon
  • 1 pack of grated low-fat cheese
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • n. B. spice(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Preheat oven to 200°C fan/convection oven. Add the required amount of water to the bread mix according to the package instructions and mix everything well with a mixer. Add the tomato paste and continue mixing. When the dough has turned a reddish color, add the onions, olives, Tabasco and chili peppers, as well as any other spices you like, and stir everything in with a spoon. Spread the dough evenly on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Top the dough base with salmon, cheese and tomato slices. Bake the pizza for about 30 minutes. Pierce the dough every now and then with a fork or similar to test its firmness. Tip: Pineapple, ham, salami, olives, or even crack a fried egg on top are also suitable toppings.
