Salmon with herbs

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slices of salmon, 150 g each
  • 1 large carrot(s), sliced
  • 1 large onion(s), cut into fine rings
  • 1 bunch of thyme
  • 50 cl white wine
  • 20 cl water
  • 20 cl crème fraîche
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Add the water, wine, onion rings, carrot pieces, and salmon, along with the thyme, salt, and pepper, to the pot and cook in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for at least 30 minutes. Then, stir in the flour and some of the cooking liquid to make a roux, add the crème fraîche, and return everything to the pot. Simmer for another 10 minutes. Serve warm with boiled potatoes or rice.
