Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g butter
  • 150 g crunchy peanut butter
  • 80 g sugar, brown, fine
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 200 g spelt flour type 630
  • 2 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Peanuts, salted, for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 50 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Cream the butter, peanut butter, and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and beat until a nice, creamy consistency is achieved. Combine the baking powder and salt with the flour and knead the mixture into the butter mixture. Chill the dough for 30 minutes. Divide the dough into 2 portions and shape into logs. Chill for another 20 minutes. Slice the logs and decorate with the salted peanuts, pressing the peanuts lightly. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between them, and bake at 170°C (top/bottom heat) for about 15 minutes.
