Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g quark (cottage cheese)
  • 200 g flour
  • Salt
  • 250 ml milk
  • Sugar
  • possibly cinnamon
  • Fat for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

sweet little quark patties

Knead the curd cheese with the flour and a pinch of salt. You’ll need enough flour so the dough doesn’t stick to your fingers. Form the dough into small, approximately 0.5 cm thick “meatballs” and fry them in a pan with a little fat until browned on both sides. Pour the milk into the pan, add a little sugar if desired, and add the Zergln. Cover the pan and simmer for about 5 minutes until soft. Serve on plates and sprinkle with sugar. If desired, you can also sprinkle with cinnamon.
