Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g butter
- 200 g wholemeal flour
- 150 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- ½ pack of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 800 g apples, approx.
- Butter for the mold
- 50 g butter
- 50 g honey
- 2 handfuls of walnuts or almonds

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
simple but delicious
Whisk the eggs and sugar, gently melt the butter, and add it to the pan. Stir in the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Then finely chop the apples with their skins on and fold them in. Place everything in a buttered round baking pan (approx. 24-28 cm in diameter). Bake in the center of the oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat). Bring the remaining butter and honey to a boil and fry the chopped walnuts in it. After 30 minutes, reduce the oven temperature to 175°C (350°F), pour the honey-butter-walnut mixture onto the cake, and bake for another 15 minutes.
