Chicken fillet casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 15 chicken inner fillets
  • 2 onions
  • 125g bacon
  • 400 g mushrooms
  • 150 g cheese, grated, to taste
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup of cream, approx. 200 g
  • salt and pepper
  • some oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

quick and easy

Season the chicken fillets with salt and pepper. Sear the meat on all sides in a pan and place in a casserole dish. Dice the onions and bacon, and slice the mushrooms. Briefly sauté the onions in the frying fat. Add the bacon and mushrooms and continue sautéing. Add the tomato paste, sauté briefly, then stir in the cream. Season the mushrooms with a little salt and pepper and simmer for about 10 minutes, until the sauce is slightly creamy. Spread the mushroom mixture over the chicken fillets, sprinkle with grated cheese, and bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes. This dish goes well with baguette or mashed potatoes.
