Grilled apple crumble

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour mix, gluten-free
  • 100 g butter, lactose-free
  • 85 g cane sugar
  • 4 large apples
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 100 g raisins
  • 100 g marzipan
  • 1 tbsp, sautéed cinnamon
  • 1 dashes lemon juice
  • e.g. powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

lactose and gluten free

Wash, peel, core, and cut the apples into small pieces. In a bowl, mix them with the lemon juice to prevent the apples from browning. Then mix with the raisins and marzipan. In another bowl, mix the very soft butter with the sugar, flour, cinnamon, and vanilla seeds and process into crumbles. Now transfer the apple mixture to a large, ovenproof casserole dish greased with butter, or alternatively, to a 7L Dutch oven. Spread the crumbles on top. Preheat the coals outside, then prepare the grill for indirect heat and set it at 180-200 degrees Celsius. This also works with a gas grill. Bake the dish in the indirect zone with the grill closed for 30-35 minutes, until the crumbles are crispy. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired, and enjoy warm either on their own or with vanilla ice cream, vanilla sauce, and/or whipped cream.
