Red Cherry Plum Compote
The perfect red cherry plum compote recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 kilogram Red cherry plums, washed, pitted and halved
- 500 g Sugar
- 1 little Bottle White Burgundy
- 4 packet Vanilla sugar
- Some water
- Put all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Add a little water if necessary. The cherry plums give off a lot of liquid. When the cherry plums turn translucent, everything can be poured into sterile twist-off jars. Turn it upside down for 10 minutes and then into the dark cool cellar. Lasts forever.
