Plum Red Wine Chocolate Cake
The perfect plum red wine chocolate cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Butter
- 200 gr Dark chocolate
- 1,5 tsp heaped Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1,5 tsp Cinnamon powder
- 1 dl Red wine
- 4 piece Egg
- 135 g Sugar
- 200 g Flour
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1,5 pinch Salt
- 690 gr Plums stoned
- was baked in a size 32 cheesecake pan
- Stone the plums and cut them into quarters at the same time preheat the oven to 180 degrees
- Melt the butter until it is creamy and soft (almost liquid) – stir in cocoa and cinnamon until smooth
- Melt the chocolate and let it cool slightly
- Beat the whole eggs with the sugar and salt very thick and creamy, really voluminous
- Mix the butter with the chocolate and fold in gently, then fold in the baking powder and flour mixture with the red wine.
- Empty everything into the tin and spread the quartered plums over it
- TIP 8: Turn the plums a little on the skin side in the flour so they don’t sink
- Now bake the cake at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes and when it is cold, dust it with powdered sugar
