Plum Red Wine Chocolate Cake

The perfect plum red wine chocolate cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Butter
  • 200 gr Dark chocolate
  • 1,5 tsp heaped Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1,5 tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 1 dl Red wine
  • 4 piece Egg
  • 135 g Sugar
  • 200 g Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1,5 pinch Salt
  • 690 gr Plums stoned
  1. was baked in a size 32 cheesecake pan
  2. Stone the plums and cut them into quarters at the same time preheat the oven to 180 degrees
  3. Melt the butter until it is creamy and soft (almost liquid) – stir in cocoa and cinnamon until smooth
  4. Melt the chocolate and let it cool slightly
  5. Beat the whole eggs with the sugar and salt very thick and creamy, really voluminous
  6. Mix the butter with the chocolate and fold in gently, then fold in the baking powder and flour mixture with the red wine.
  7. Empty everything into the tin and spread the quartered plums over it
  8. TIP 8: Turn the plums a little on the skin side in the flour so they don’t sink
  9. Now bake the cake at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes and when it is cold, dust it with powdered sugar
