Salmon baked with mustard sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g salmon fillet(s), without skin
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ½ lemon(s)
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 200 g gratin cheese
  • 200 g sour cream
  • some salt and pepper
  • dill
  • Parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Slice the onions and set aside. Finely chop the garlic cloves and mix with the sour cream, honey, and mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Preheat the oven to 170°C (fan oven). Wash the salmon and pat dry, drizzle with lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper. Spread the mixed sauce over the fish and top with the cheese. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes, reducing the temperature to 200°C (400°F) for the last 5 minutes to allow the cheese to brown. Garnish with parsley and dill. Serve with salad, baguette, or ravioli.
