Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter
  • 350 g flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 150 g sugar, finest grain
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • some sugar for sprinkling
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place the butter in a bowl and sift in the flour and cocoa powder. Add the sugar and milk and mix until the dough thickens. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of about 1 cm. Use cookie cutters to cut out cookies as desired and place them on a greased baking sheet. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes, until the shortbread is golden brown. Let it cool briefly on the baking sheet. Then transfer to a wire rack, sprinkle with sugar, and let it cool completely.
