  • 1 banana(s), ripe
  • some water or almond milk
  • Honey or agave syrup or other sweeteners

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

A low-fat, low-calorie cookie that’s versatile and can be prepared vegan. Makes 15 cookies.

Mash the banana with a fork or hand blender. Mix this with the oats and, if desired, add a little water or almond milk until everything forms a dough. Sweeten with honey or agave syrup, if desired. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet using two teaspoons and press down lightly. Bake at 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 15 minutes. Variation: Add a tablespoon of peanut butter, chocolate chips, or dried fruit to the basic dough. However, the dried fruit should first be briefly soaked in water and then chopped into small pieces. A basic cookie (about 15g) consisting of banana, oats, and water has about 25 kcal, 0.3g fat, 4.4g carbohydrates, and 1.6g sugar.
