  • 150 g ginger
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1
  • 100 ml apple cider
  • 100 ml apple juice

Peel, core, and dice the apples. Peel and finely dice the ginger. Bring the apples to a boil with the ginger, lemon juice, preserving sugar, cider, and apple juice. Then boil gently for 4 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove the pan from the heat and pour the jam into hot, rinsed jars. Seal the jars and let them rest on the lids for 5 minutes. For 6 jars, this contains approximately 268 kcal per jar.
