Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 pointed peppers, red
  • 250 g quark
  • Milk or cream
  • 2 tsp sambal oelek (or more depending on your preference)
  • 1 tsp, heaped oregano, shredded
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • Chips (tortilla chips)

Snack, simple starter or for the party buffet

Halve, deseed, and wash the peppers. When halving, it’s important to ensure the halves can rest on the plate without tipping over. Place the quark in a bowl and mix with milk or cream until creamy. Stir in the sambal oelek, oregano, salt, pepper, and paprika, and season to taste. Place the pepper halves on a plate and spread the quark over them. Stick tortilla chips into the quark to create sails.
