Potato, apple, and onion vegetables in red wine

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g potatoes, diced
  • 25 g onion(s), chopped
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 100 g apple, chopped
  • 100 ml red wine
  • 50 g quark
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 50 g bread(s) (brown bread), crumbled
  • 2 small bratwurst if required
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Ideal for using up leftovers

Sauté the onion in 1 teaspoon of oil. Add the diced potatoes and deglaze with red wine. Just before the potatoes are tender, add the apple pieces. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the crumbled brown bread, quark, and mustard, and season to taste. If you like, you can also fry some small sausages.
