Peanut butter chocolate cookies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter
  • 250 g crunchy peanut butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 80 g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g chocolate drops
  • 400 g flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

First things first: All ingredients should be at room temperature. Mix the butter, peanut butter, and sugar until well blended. Then add the eggs and vanilla and beat until creamy. Mix the flour with the baking powder and salt, sift it onto the butter mixture, and mix well. Add the chocolate chips and fold in. Using an ice cream scoop, form small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving enough space between them. Refrigerate the balls for about 1 hour. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (top/bottom heat) for about 15-25 minutes on the middle rack. Tip: The chilled dough pieces can be frozen in portions. Simply thaw for 20 minutes and then bake as usual.
