Beef with egg noodles

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 450 g rump steak(s)
  • 250 g Chinese egg noodles
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 2 tbsp green curry paste (Thai)
  • 3 tbsp sauce (hoisin sauce) or black bean paste
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp sesame oil
  • 150 ml beef stock

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Prepare the noodles according to the package instructions and set aside. Cut the meat into thin strips, dice the bell pepper, and finely chop the onion. Heat the oil in a wok. Brown the meat strips over high heat. Add the garlic, onion, and bell pepper and fry for 3-4 minutes. Add the curry paste, hoisin sauce, and beef stock and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Add the prepared noodles to the wok, tossing and turning a few times. Serve immediately.
